This team is fucking frustrating to watch lately. Minny is only 3 points back with the same amount of games. Big game against them this week. Whoever wins the NW Division makes the playoffs, doubtful that any others do. If Minny overtakes the division league, we drop to around 9-10th place in the West.

Our PP has been god awful. Seriously, I think Newell Brown needs to go.

Our S/O line up also needs to be addressed. Hansen, Burrows and Edler all had pretty terrible attempts.

I was at the game tonight and well safe to say our coaching staff is either trash or just not getting the message through anymore. For instance we got a power play in OT Edler and the sedans were on a shift before or during the penalty was called. Good for us right, think we are going to win the game correct? Well looked that way...then I say to myself well we have so much time early in the OT I assume AV will use his one and only time out to regroup his boys and set up a play. NO! he lets the Sedins continue to play with a tired Edler and the pp looked horrendous. So I tell my buddy who I went with I've seen this story with the canucks many times...get a pp in OT don't capitalize and lose in the shootout...It's either time for a coaching change or a big move or trade needs to be done. They are just playing like trash and mediocre will not get them into the playoffs let alone win the cup...end rant

Man Edler has been completely horrendous on D this year... and isn't this guy technically supposed to be our "no.1" D-man? If he's gonna command 5mil/yr.. well then...

Why's everybody freaking out over a loss? You guys do realize there are 2 teams on the ice right? Had the Sharks lost tonight, they'd be in 8th, so they're battling for their playoff lives. It's almost a given no matter how well the Canucks do from now till game 48, they're gonna finish in 3rd. Something horrible has to happen for Minny or Edm to catch us. So everybody just chill and remember, there are no shoot outs in the playoffs.
