Assuming Schneider doesn't become a sudden bust next season, you really think Canucks will miss the playoffs because they don't have the best goaltending tandem in the league? Sure, they might not secure the Presidents again, but does that really matter as long as they can secure divisional champs, which should be able to happen with or without Luongo? Those extra "wins" are minor.

If we really need a tandem to make a serious cup run, then that's just bad luck and w're destined to never win the cup. How many stanley cup champion teams actually rely on a goaltending tandem because their starter goalie got injured in the playoffs?
