It's okay. I don't expect any big movements on our part before the Trade Deadline.
I'm pretty sure MG's content with the goaltending tandem and is going to play it out until the end of the season.
Considering we're on a role now and winning games... seems legit
But on a serious note, even if we bust out early this season, he'll have "key injuries" excuse to fall back on.
And more reason for him to not admit the team has serious flaws, and just call this season an unlucky one.

Iginla, Crosby, Fleury, and soon Morrow... Pittsburgh is basically Canada's gold medal olympic team
How many of their players would be a captain on most teams? |

The pens are now like the late 90 Av's but with out a All Star goalie. The Iggy trade is like the Bourque trade that pushed them over the top.

Hossa was good, skill aside, Guerin and Iginla have more will than anything | I'll give you Guerin even though he's not really A1. I was thinking more along the lines of a Hossa; someone who this city is expecting to bring in for the Canucks "farm/future". With my original comment and the person it was directed to, I doubt that someone of Guerin's ilk would suffice as being "enough" done by MG.
Actually thinking about it, I think bringing in Hal Gill was more important to their cup win, but that's splitting atoms. They won a cup and I'm just jelly |

To be honest, I don't think Iginla is going to make too big of a difference....That 1st line was producing incredibly as it was with Kunitz and Dupuis....Crosby has made Kunitz look like a superstar on paper, and he's made Dupuis look pretty damn good too...How much better can it really get?

Theres a number of factors why so and so says ___ is overrated. Like jealously or hate.
Looking at that poll they have Luongo [debateable], Kovalchuk, Ovechkin, Kesler, and Pronger as overrated |

Looking at that poll they have Luongo [debateable], Kovalchuk, Ovechkin, Kesler, and Pronger as overrated | Ovechkin, Kesler, Pronger, and Luongo as overrated? You find that surprising? .........Of course people are going to find Luongo as being overrated after choking in the playoffs, of course people are going find Kesler and Pronger overrated when they are almost always injured....Kesler has only had one good season points-production wise.....do I really need to even begin to explain why people would think Ovechkin is overrated? I mean seriously?.....
and yeah, you're right, guys must be jealous of Iginla, he's had it made in Calgary for the last 16 years...what a lucky guy, I'm sure everyone in the league wishes they were him for those 16 years..................

If Iginla is overrated, he wouldnt be in the top 10 for most goals scored in the past 5 seasons
Iginla has a vision for the game
plain and simple
