Too bad Booth didn't put some pucks in the net. You can tell he's not a plug. Maybe if he dedicated his spare time to becoming a better hockey player than a hunter he'd improve out there. No doubt he's a strong, athletic guy but his off ice antics have me questioning his dedication to the sport. Some people just have a gift and ride it out rather than investing their time into becoming better.. a waste of talent if you ask me.

Nope, I was playing Midget A and had a cage on so I didn't need one. The cage completly caved in which took my teeth ourt and lip. If I had a visor I wouldnt want to know what the outcome would of been.

I was most pissed off that I was going for my hat trick and it was only the second. I remember skating back to the bench and there was about 300 people in the rink and just silence. I went back to the dressing room and said fuck it I still want to play lol

So who do you guys see the Canucks acquiring at the trade deadline? I know we desperately need a center. Here are a few centerman Canucks might be interested in. Shawn Matthias. I hope it's not him, really don't want another ex Panther. John Mitchell, Antoine Vermette, looks like the yotes could be sellers esp if they lose tonight to the Sharks. He also has playoff exp, and Mark Letestu. Out of those 4, I wouldn't mind Vermette. Wonder what the asking price would be for him?

wasn't it only a few years back when there were Vermette rumours coming to the Canucks? I remember he was good in his last year with the Sens but haven't heard from him much with CBJ

^ The Leafs aren't sellers this year so I doubt Grabo will be available. At least not for a draft pick. And didn't Doan make it crystal clear last summer that he didn't want to be a Vancouver Canuck? Why would he change his mind now? No way is Tampa gonna trade Stamkos's linemate and who knows how good Purcell really is without Stamkos? Would love to see Pominville here tho. But it'll cost us an arm and a leg to acquire him.

Only way I see the Canucks acquiring Grabovski is Luongo going the other way--and I'm fine with that. Just no Bozak garbage who's a UFA at the end of this season who has his stats padded thanks to Kessel.
