I'm fully aware of that. Only issue is other teams will over pay for him so I have a feeling since thats the case and he's only had one good year being last year I don't think Gillis will take that bait.

I don't have a good feeling about Garrison because he's so unproven. One 16 goal season's worth $5+mil? I dunno.

And I disagree with the Salo comparison. Salo's a rock defensively, even though he wasn't the same this year after the Marchand cheap shot. Garrison... not on the same level defensively.

Man, sad to hear Salo leaving for Tampa. After everything he has gone through here and done for us. I wish him nothing but the best on the east coast. Gonna miss that Salo bomb on the PP. MG please do something..
