Heard on 1040 they could see Lu going to the Devils for marek zidlicky and Hedberg. NJD have a 20yr Montreal guy that Lu is good friends with and with Marty's last year they need a tender.
That would be a pretty terrible return. A mid-pair 36-year old D-man and a backup goalie? Bleh.
There's no one on NJD I want at this point apart from Adam Henrique. David Clarkson might be alright but big no to Zidlicky/Hedberg unless there's nothing else out there.

well if NJ is considering getting Lu as a long-term option after Marty, they need to be prepared to give us back a quality long-term player or at very least a shorter-term player and not just a couple of chump rentals.
