LUUUUUUUU 04-15-2013 06:27 PM

lol yeaaaa Kassian

bballguy 04-15-2013 06:27 PM

Took way too long for guys to come to the aid of Kassian....

punkwax 04-15-2013 06:27 PM

Kass took a pretty good one from Weber there.

KO7 04-15-2013 06:28 PM

how the fuck do they get a PP out of that?

fliptuner 04-15-2013 06:29 PM

cause the refs pity the fools

UFO 04-15-2013 06:30 PM

I thought Kass gave Weber a pretty solid shot before Weber face washed him. Took a while for the crew to arrive, but the play was at center ice...

Anyways Kass can take care of business. He gave a shot to his right, then Weber to his left, lol

AzNightmare 04-15-2013 06:42 PM

Looks like Rinne still hates Kesler

UFO 04-15-2013 06:44 PM

Looks like Kesler got some good pre-game Nashville lay :D

Rinne made some huge saves, but on a couple of goals he flopped around like a beached whale

Not really racist! 04-15-2013 06:54 PM

Kesler heating up... baking at 450 F

THIS.

Plus Sedins are absolutely pathetic when it comes to standing up for their team mates, when Burrows was just getting thrashed by Gill and when Weber was all over him without a helmet on either Daniel or Hank just go at them with like a soft one hand push

i'm completely indifferent to the Sedins play, sure put up goals here and there but we need actual emotion/toughness from them if we are going anywhere cause the players below them cant give enough to make up for their lacking.

Forget about standing up for their teammates, they don't even stand up for themselves...

TheKingdom2000 04-15-2013 07:19 PM

I really hope Columbus makes the playoffs, they're so close and only a handful of games left.

So... you want Hank or Dank to challenge Gill or Weber?

I don't think he necessarily meant challenging/scrapping a guy like Gill or Weber.

More like showing emotion and standing up for yourself instead of the Marchand/D.Sedin incident..

Ronin 04-15-2013 07:28 PM

Sorry but I don't want the Sedins standing up for anyone. That's not their role. They're not that kind of player. They're the sort of players that the team protects, not the ones protecting teammates. That's what Kassian, Sestito, Alberts, Bieksa, etc are for.

So Daniel goes up to Weber after Weber gives Burrows a few whacks...then what happens? Oh right, Weber is enormous and kicks Daniel's ass. Worse case scenario, Daniel falls backwards and hits his head on the ice. THEN WHAT. All you people would be like "What the fuck was he doing in there anyways?"

How many Lady Byng's has Datsyuk won now? Anyone want to call him pathetic? How about Martin St. Louis? Loui Ericksson? Jordan Eberle?

You people seem to think there's only one way to play hockey. Your opinions, like the wack jobs that call into the TEAM1040 after a loss, are rooted in emotion rather than logic.

kristianhay 04-15-2013 07:28 PM

Sedins have stood up for themselves a lot more since the Marchand incident imo. They are fine as is.

Championships aside Who is the better tandem, Toews/Kane or Sedins?

Meh, depends how you look at it I guess.

We can all agree that the Sedins are amazing players and have taken a lot of shit on and off the ice and have handled it well.

Still, I'd preferred if Kesler was our captain; but that's another topic.

Just glad we got the win today

Like when Daniel tried to play pretend tough guy and ended up crawling to the bench against the kings?

Standing up for your team mates doesn't mean taking cheap shots and hacks, get in there and toss players off your players, face wash show SOME emotion for gods sake. Their idea of toughness is trying to throw lame ass hits or doing absolutely nothing at all.

Uh....that was Henrik when he got rocked by Dustin Brown...not Daniel...

bballguy 04-15-2013 07:45 PM

I don't want Sedin's to go and start fights or anything; I'd just like to see them to play with some kind of an edge....a killer instinct, if you will....

Not even close to comparable. Entirely different players at entirely different stages of their careers. Even if they were, the point you're trying to make is stupid.

You're trying to say that players that are more physical are simply "better"? If so, then that's ridiculous because you're measuring all players by the same standards.

That's like saying Messier was a better player than Gretzky. Hey, The Great One participated in less than a handfull of fights in his career and needed Marty McSorley to protect him the entire time. MOAR LIKE TEH PATHETIC ONE I GUESS. :derp:
