LUUUUUUUU 04-25-2013 08:30 PM

EmperorIS 04-25-2013 08:31 PM

Thank you Luongo for everything :(

Tim Budong 04-25-2013 08:36 PM

Yep... Gonna suck if no1 gets moved...https://fbcdn-sphotos-e-a.akamaihd.n...05662211_n.jpg

Anyways... Why is it that this Vancouver Canucks team only gets motivated to play a strong game against the Hawks...yet the effort isn't matched against the rest of the league...

punkwax 04-25-2013 08:39 PM

Not much too play for right now. I understand where you're coming from, but the flip side of that coin is that you know they can play in meaningful games - playoff games.

agreed, so would I... at least somebody had their cellphone camera out haha

TheKingdom2000 04-25-2013 08:57 PM

I'm sure photoshop could correct it no problem.
There are a ton of members who could probably do it. I'm sure it would take a few hours at least provided they had the original image.

Gh0stRider 04-25-2013 08:59 PM

the fight for 8th will be interesting now.

Paging Schroeder MT @ThomasDrance Ebbett played less than 12 mins Thursday. In those mins the #Ducks attempted 16 shots, the #Canucks 1.
Pretty much proves how useless Ebbet is haha.

Hondaracer 04-25-2013 10:25 PM

wtf why is Ebbet still here and why have i been asking this question for like 2 months

giving up Volpati was a huge mistake

Also would be lol is Minny played Chicago, bye bye

Nabatron 04-25-2013 10:51 PM

Ebbett should not be playing in the playoffs! With his size playing on either the third or fourth line is a meeeestake! Rather see what that big 6'6 college free agent has to offer Kellan Lain or whatever his name is! Would be an upgrade over a 5'7 trash bag in Ebbett

iwantaskyline 04-25-2013 11:12 PM

AV was obviously resting players..Corrado got 20 mins. Take this game lightly fellas.

We just don't wan to see Ebbett any more.

LA vs San Jose on Saturday. Loser plays the Canucks instead of the Blues.

Have a feeling both teams will want to throw the game.

Gumby 04-26-2013 08:51 AM

I wouldn't mind a re-match against LA.

Edit: If we beat them, it would give the team a huge morale boost. And apart from the end result, we all know what happened when we finally beat Chicago in the 2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs!

CRS 04-26-2013 09:56 AM

Would much rather play SJ than any of the other options.

spoon.ek9 04-26-2013 10:15 AM

^ agree. as much as i'd like to see redemption against LA, i'd rather we play SJS.

Simulated 04-26-2013 10:36 AM

either LA or SJ is fine for me. kings are a good team but i'm a firm believer that if daniel was healthy from game 1, we would have moved on to round 2 and not them.

Hondaracer 04-26-2013 11:02 AM

Almost have a feeling though they may be able to "get up" for LA easier than SJ

Kings are a complete team, where as we dont even know who the hell our 4th liners are.

A pair of Canucks playoff tickets this season will cost the same as a flight to Vegas or a night in a five-star hotel.
Tickets for first-round playoff games at Rogers Arena this season have gone up to $123.75 for the cheapest seats and $425.75 before fees for pricier seats. The price is up from regular-season tickets, which cost from $85 to $306 before fees.
The increase makes the starting ticket price for Canucks the highest of any Canadian team. In Toronto, playoff tickets start at $56.75 and in Montreal they start at $63.

The price increase has caused some sticker shock for fans of the game.
“It’s definitely a huge increase and I can understand what they’re doing, but I’m not happy with it,” said ticket broker Kingsley Bailey.
Bailey said he has noticed more empty seats at games this season, possibly because fans are still upset about the shortened season caused by the NHL lockout.
Once the playoffs hit, he thinks the empty seats will fill up fast as the Canucks start going up against quality teams.
“Once we get to crunch time and we’ve gotten through the first and second round, the fans will pay whatever it takes to get into the building,” said Bailey.
Barry MacDonald from Team 1040 sports radio show in Vancouver says it’s a matter of demand
“We have seen in this market for 12 consecutive years now that people will buy the tickets, despite the ticket price,” said MacDonald.
“If you're a businessman like Francesco Aquilini you're going to continue to push the bar.”

TORONTO – After a nine year absence from the playoffs Leafs’ fans will once again be able to pick up tickets to the first home playoff game, but they won’t be cheap.

Game 1 tickets are expected to rise by 75 per cent compared to a regular season ticket.

The Leafs already have the most expensive ticket in the NHL, according to a February report from the U.S.-based Team Marketing Report which lists the average Leafs ticket at $124.69, compared to the Phoenix Coyotes who charge an average ticket price of $40.32.

“For the first round of the playoffs you can expect to pay $300 to $400 dollars for the upper level. And $500 and up for the lower level,” said Smith. “It’s all about supply and demand, and right now there are way more buyers than sellers.”

Rabid Leaf fans looking for tickets and expect to pay a premium through a secondhand retailer like showtimetickets.com.

Other Canadian teams will increase the price of a playoff ticket, but the increase isn’t expected to be a as sharp as in Toronto.

Vancouver Canucks playoffs tickets will go on sale Apr. 26 and will start at $123.75 up from an average ticket price of $87.83.

The Montreal Canadiens who’ve also secured a spot in the playoffs are expected to increase ticket prices from an average of $78.56 to a starting price of $143.

I don't get it - one article says Canucks round 1 tickets start at $123.75 - the highest of any Canadian team.

Then the GlobalNews article says Canadiens round 1 tickets start at $143.
