Just think about this.

Lets say the Canucks did trade Luongo and Schneider had this injury.

Joe Cannatta AHL goalie starting for us in the playoffs :heckno:

...Things could be worse

Cannatta playing lights out for a AHL goalie and the Canucks win the cup with him getting MVP :troll:

Cam Ward 2006 but look at Carolina's line up that year when they won the cup. At least they can score clutch goals... we are rank 11th out of 16 playoff teams in scoring.

Damn it, I can't believe places like Carolina and Tampa Bay have won the cup. :rukidding:

It's pretty sad - my dad came to Canada in 1977 and started watching the Canucks back then. Yesterday he said that it's gonna suck if he cannot see them win the cup within his lifetime. :(

imagine being a diehard baseball fan in boston or chicago. 85+ years for the red socks and white socks, and 108 and counting for the cubs. thats like 2-3 generations never seeing a championship. baseball is americas past time like hockey here.

sorry in french but 21 year old rookie Brendan Gallagher in the face of CAPTAIN Alfredson sticking up for his team mate?

call it killer instinct or being a "tough canadian kid" but to see a guys character like Gallaghers sticking up for his team mate like that, thats the "it" factor most of the nucks dont got.

pastarocket 05-02-2013 09:13 PM

Quick is not so quick, again. -wrist shot beats Quickie with less than a minute left in the game. The hockey gods are watching over St. Louis.

Gh0stRider 05-02-2013 09:14 PM

Hondaracer 05-02-2013 09:18 PM

Mike Oxbig 05-02-2013 09:22 PM

Gallagher is legit. The league is gonna recognize his leadership and skill. Nobody is gonna fuck with him even if he is 5'9 standing up for his teammates.

Good to see another Vancouver Giant being successful.

Spoiler!

I assume it has something to do with Henrik being captain and the way AV coaches. "All right, boys, lets stay disciplined and get them on the powerplay!"
