I want luongo to be back, if he gets traded i want Gillis to be fired because he fucked up signing him to a 10 yr contract then traded him.
Before band wagoners jumped on early 2011. It was Luongo's team, although he is aging we still have Lack and Cannata. Schneids is not fully 100% proven yet maybe 90% if he fucks up fans gonna be crying to play Lack or Cannata... another controversy!
I'm guessing you didn't know Bernier already played for the Canucks back in 09 and there's a reason why they didn't keep him until now (think a bigger version of Raymond--aka useless)
feel a little bad for AV men, can't really blame him for some of these games, as the team showed absolutely 0 heart...but then again, his favouritism was brutal
Booth and Ballard seem like the obvious buyout candidates, but I haven't read anything definitive on whether both buyouts can be used this offseason, or 1 for this offseason and 1 for the following.
NHL clubs will have to adjust to a $64.3 million salary cap in 2013-14 as part of the tentative new CBA, but they will each get two amnesty buyouts to help them through the transition, according to CP’s Chris Johnston and Sportsnet’s Nick Kypreos.
The debate on which players will be bought out will start immediately, but teams don’t need to rush to a decision. NHL franchises will be allowed to use the buyouts starting this summer and they will also have the opportunity to exercise them during the 2014 off-season. They can buy out two players simultaneously or spread them out if they wish.
The players bought out will still receive two-thirds of what’s left on their contract, but those costs will not count towards the salary cap. However, they will still count towards the players’ share of hockey-related revenues.
Given that the first amnesty buyout period won’t start until this summer, some potential candidates will have the opportunity to try to avoid that fate by performing admirably during the shortened season.
The only thing I was critical of MG about the Coho trade was he actually didn't shop him to other teams. I remember reading a tweet somewhere that some GMs would've been interested in him if they knew he was available. I felt that at that time, we could've used more of a veteran player than banking on a younger player like Kassian in the playoffs.
Then it shows how long management has targeted Kassian and wanted him here. It shows the confidence they have in him that he will become the player they see. And only time will tell if he ever becomes that player.

Hope he does, for the longest time so many people said the Sedins would be nothing more then 2nd liners at best.

That dumbass penalty Kassian took in game 1 when we had the 1-0 lead pretty much fucked us for the whole series
And yea, we need to keep Luongo. We'll probably get a bag of pucks for him in return. He still has atleast 3 seasons left in him. Whereas if we trade Schnieder we can get a higher return for the final push before we enter rebuilding time..
