They are calling this kid a generational talent. At 16 some suggest he's already as good or better than McKinnon and Drouin. Will be interesting to see what struggling US franchise, I mean...team wins the lottery.

how about guy boucher?

-Parlay ticket of Sharks game 3 win over Canucks and Senators series win

Pending tonight
-Parlay ticket of Senators, Penguins and Blackhawks wins tonight
-Blackhawks correct series win score of 4-1

Anyone else here get in big on the Karlsson more series points than Subban, was almost a gimme. I've noticed BCLC is slow with updating, setting these odds for player vs player props, even the Thorton vs Henrik series points bet was pretty much a gimme, before game 4, Thorton was a 2x payout underdog, while having 1 more point than Henrik already and the Sedins looking absolutely useless.

Good bets man!

That Henrik/Thornton bet was tempting! haha and didn't bet that much, just put $100 on Karlsson > Subban.

Yup, agreed, think I'm done betting for round 1. Will wait to see what player vs player props are up for round 2, and if its Blackhawks vs Sharks, will probably take a Hawks 4-2 series win

So tempted to take the Datsyuk vs Getzlaf series point bet right now, Datsyuk pays out 3.5x, just 1 point behind Getzlaf......but I think I'll pass

Hondaracer 05-09-2013 09:48 PM

sports betting is wayyyy harder than most people think, the human factor can be devastating lol

i've honestly probably played like 50 sports action oddset and I MIGHT have won 10?

much more successfull on Bodog, but when somthing can go wrong it usually does :S

I wouldn't mind giving him a chance.

Haha was incredibly tempted as well. Since datsyuk is only one point behind. Instead, i took the alex p over doughty. Since alex is leading by 1, feels like a smart bet.

Along with April Reimer and Elisha Cuthbert, Jon Snow (Kit Harington) was at that last Leaf game. No evil glares reported.

Crosby, Ovie, and Tavares are finalists for the Hart trophy.

Crosby, Ovechkin, Tavares named Hart Trophy finalists

Who is your pick as MVP? I would go with Tavares. He's the player that is the most valuable on a team that doesn't have a great deal of depth.

Bottom line: If Tavares is not in the line up, the Islanders do not make the playoffs.

Crosby has missed the last 12 regular season games due to injury. -hasn't been played enough games to prove he should be the MVP.

Ovie has been inconsistent in his play this season. When the Capitals were struggling this season, he started to pick up his play but overall did not play at a consistent level during most of the season to be considered an MVP.

Tavares for me as well

Tavares. Look at the team that's around him and look at the team that's around Crosby.

kwy 05-10-2013 11:28 AM

Crosby makes much of the team around him much better. He really inflates the stats of Dupuis, Kunitz, etc.

spideyv2 05-10-2013 11:33 AM

Luongo

TPMarko 05-10-2013 11:41 AM

tavares or ovi. the penguins continued to win without crosby and thats going to hurt his chances.

MR_BIGGS 05-10-2013 11:43 AM

Anyone have that clip of Taveres from last game where he skated the puck into the Pens zone and kept switching it from his forehand to his backhand. It was on a string, so sick. Didn't score, but looked sick.

This?

bballguy 05-10-2013 12:03 PM

omfg lol

Infiniti 05-10-2013 12:08 PM

^ Guy is proving once again that he shows up in pressure cooker situations..also doing great is Kyle Okposo who has been a monster on that team..Kinda doing what Kesler did against Nashville two seasons ago..Wishful thinking, but at a cap hit of 2.8million per season (under contract until 15-16) could be a good target for acquisition. Then again I suppose the more pressing issue is getting the house in order beforehand...*sigh*

pastarocket 05-10-2013 12:17 PM

That's some dirty dangling by Tavares against the Pens defenceman.

Tavares team has what it takes to win and wont give up until they are completely done. Crosby's team is just all skillful guys who may feel they can free ride on the passenger seat.

RRxtar 05-10-2013 12:30 PM

Crosby Tavares and Ovi all have good arguements for MVP

Crosby: Showed up in his first full season back and absolutely dominated. he was like 20 points up on #2 when he got injured and almost didn't get caught for 12 games after. Only downside to Crosby is the Pens have shown how good they are by not missing a step when each of their top guys went down.

Tavares: Dug the team out of the basement and carried the Islanders to the playoffs for the first time 7 years

Ovi: Started playing hockey again and tore up the second half of the season ending up 3rd in scoring, and carried the team to the playoffs.

My guess is Crosby, with Ovi second and Tavares third.
