watching the LA kings, it seems they are the inverse of the canucks
whereas canucks go balls to the walls in the reg season and stomp on their shitty divisional rivals, la kings play just good enough to make it
la kings play with physicality tenacity and grit...none of which the nucks have
kings score clutch goals at crucial moments
guys like jeff carter, kopitar, richards, brown, penner are better than the entire nucks roster...pretty depressing to be a fan right now knowing that they arent even in the same league

thats the same shit i've been saying since the Kings beat the nucks
Carter/Richards/Brown and even a Kopitar/Penner are bigger time players than our top players, we cant get out of the west or even first rounds against these teams as we are currently constructed

last year kopitar brown and quick took care of business - all drafted by the kings
williams, richards, carter, penner, mitchell, stoll that's a legendary cast even before they were on the kings.
biggest team in the nhl too |

nucks are just to small/pussy of a team. every series theyve lost they just get pushed around by a bigger, more physical team (boston, hawks two yrs in a row...la, sj)
we need a guy like byfuglien who can just fuck shit up around the net and crease

Joe was playing some phenomenal hockey this whole series and through these playoffs. He can't be expected to do everything every single game.

Kings vs Bruins/Hawks vs Pens would both make for an amazing SCF
Kings vs Bruins would be a low scoring gongshow, whereas the Hawks vs Pens would be more of a high scoring, finesse series

Torts in Van would be so much fun
That and he is a great post-season coach
However I have my doubts they'll be making it to the post season.. at least not with the team the way it is now.

nucks resign Sestito to 2yr deal!
Looks like Gillis is supporting the "bigger" trend.
