At least it should be "as easy" and should be another automatic President's Trophy for them...
Unless the Wild suddenly get really good with their new stars

You never get used to the schedule, you deal with it.
It's not an excuse, its a fact that the Canucks have the most travel of any team in the league. You cram a bunch of games into a shortened season and that's a recipe for disaster. Look at the NBA. So many players that aren't injury prone got hurt this year. Many think it is because of the shortened season. Four games in five nights was the norm for some stretches.
A veteran team may get use to the travel, but their bodies can't take it as well as younger players. I'm just stating an opinion.
And i do think the Canucks schedule is way more favorable than in the past. For one thing, five teams will log more kilometres than the Canucks this season. Secondly, the two largest road trips will be done on October and November. That's to say 14 of their first 23 games will be played on the road.
The Canucks get the worst of their travel done early. The schedule features two five-game road trips and both come in the first two months of the season.

I think the Canucks will do fine.
Look at the Sedins, they are always in great shape and rarely gets hurt.
Kesler would (SHOULD) have a well rested offseason and start of the season from his injury.
Burrows / Hansen / Hamhuis / Bieksa - These guys are always durable
Higgins - Just no more staph infections.
I think a shortened season / compacted schedule is something Canucks acknowledge and knows how to deal with.

Kesler should take as much time as he needs because he is the next target canucks fan throw under the bus after luongo's departure.

Just saw in News1130 twitter feed that they claim Canucks offer to Doan won't be the most money but Doan remains "still very interest" in Vancouver. Even tho that doesn't really mean anything lol

After everything, I'm seriously thinking Doan is just going to resign in Phoenix.

Andy Strickland @andystrickland
Sources say #Kings GM Dean Lombardi wants a specific player from the #Leafs roster along with pick in return for Jonathan Bernier
| Reports sound like Burke and Lombardi have been going back and forth regarding Bernier for the last couple weeks now, wonder if Burke has just given up on trying to get Lu.

^ asking price is probably still too high for Lu. MG is going to have to settle for something sooner or later.

Lu is still an elite goaltender. I'd be pissed if he got traded for peanuts.
I also don't mind both goalies playing for us next season [till the trade deadline]. Arguably the best goalie tandem starting next season? Sure why not.

they offered david bolland for luongo HAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHH
for hossa or sharp only... even if the hawks lose one of them, they have equal chance with the canucks after the trade for a shot winning the cup

Gillis should consider moving Schnieder rather than Luongo. Trade value is higher, there are more teams interested, and he is still an unproven commodity who could very well flop when given a full time starting job.
