What a day! Spending the day going well passed the slip angles I'm used to was a pleasure!
As the video said, it was a steep learning curve for me due to the movements drifters execute that I've never even tried before. As the day progressed, however, things started to come together and I managed to keep pressure on Babu. Coming second place and beating a current Professional drifter may have been the highlight of the challenge up to date for me. Congrats to Sasha and Team Top Tuner, we'll be gunning for you at the next event; TIME ATTACK!!!

Team VCMC will be competing at the Knox Mountain Hillclimb in Kelowna this weekend! In this video Sead Causevic, a hillclimb specialist and our Pikes Peak driver, talks his way up the local hill!

The event results haven't been officially released yet and I don't believe there is a forum being used.
However my fastest run was a 2:03.6 while Sead Causevic, our driver for Pikes Peak and very experience Knox Mountain driver did a fantastic 2:01.6!!
We were struggling a bit with mechanical grip due to using very old Kumho rcomp tires. With new tires and small tweaks I know it is a sub 2 min car no problem!
We have a bunch of videos and pictures coming out very soon documenting our runs and preparation of the car!
The Team VCMC FR-S will be racing both days this weekend!
Saturday May 25th our turbo FR-S will be at Mission Raceway during the British Columbia Historic Motor Races competing in their Time Attack Challenge at Mission Raceway!
Sunday May 26th we will be attending the VCMC Auto-x Cup #2 at the Pitt Meadows Airport!!
We'd love to meet our fans, show you around the car or let you jump inside (if you practice yoga)!!
As many of you know Team VCMC participated in the 2013 Knox Mountain Hillclimb in preparation for Pikes Peak International Hillclimb. A major aspect of making a fast racecar is also making it safe!! The guys at Shift Autosport went above and beyond creating a jungle gym fit for any sanctioning body scrutineers.

Members of Team VCMC who just returned from Pikes Peak will be at the June VCMC monthly meeting to tell their story and answer any questions you have! This event is not closed to Club VCMC members, everyone is more than welcome to come!

All the teams were finally on the West Coast and Team VCMC had home field advantage!! Taking to Mission Raceway for the Time Attack Challenge, we knew the pressure was on. Team Top Tuner brought new upgrades to their car including a supercharger and NOS. As always driver for Top Tuner is Sasha Anis; current Canadian Touring Car Champion.
However, Team VCMC had been testing and polishing our setup for time attack for some time and felt more than confident coming into the Challenge. We saw this as the most important challenge to win and put all our efforts towards taking home that 86 medal! Check out the video to see who came out on top!
