The only place I have experience with is Panther, and they were awesome.

Had tires mounted on my TE37TT's a few years back, the guy mounting them said that the wheel flew off his machine and it chipped in a few places. They only deal with Panthers so they sent the wheel over there to be fixed free of charge for me, but I'm not very happy with it. The fix turned out good, but there's a few things that slightly bug me. First off being the fact that they clear coated my TE stickers, so they're stuck there forever now and looks kinda funky up close. Second thing is that my wheels have a slightly glossy silver lip. After they clear coated it, the gloss was gone and looked a lot more dull, so it didn't match the other 3. Another thing is that after a year or two, the clear coat chipped away quite a bit where as my other wheels have no damage to them at all :/

Just got a bent wheel back from Panthers. 17" Motegi MR7 Greens said no it will crack. Panther did it no problem for $150 + tax = $168 Plus Greyhound station to station shipping which is cheap.

Would use them again.

^Don't they cost about the same to replace the wheel? Just curious, unless they're discontinued now

They were discontinued around 2010.

Lots were sold so beat up used sets can be had for cheap. I was in a bit of a rush as we didn't want to run winter steelies/tires on my wife's car all summer.

sounds about right. Panther does the best work out of all the shops mentioned here. If you want it done right, you gotta pay.

I recently got 1 of my wheels refinished at alloy wheel repair in on simpson and bridgeport in richmond and they did a fantastic job. They where cheaper compared to panther, and greens as well.

Spoiler!

Wheel repair and refinishing is a lot more complicated than it seems to an outsider. Color matching OEM finishes can be extremely difficult, hyper silver comes to mind. It takes more time than you'd think to blend out curb rash without making it obvious that it's been repaired.

The work required to take a wheel through the entire process makes it hard to carve out a profit margin, we clear around 15 wheels a day (in and out). My manager used to work for Panther, he didn't have anything negative to say about them.

^what place you work at now?

I picked up some OEM bbs forged sti rims yesterday and was wondering what would be the best place to get the curb damage fixed? I got a quote from panthers anywhere between $165-265, haven't heard back from nu brite yet or alloy wheel repair. I would go to greens but its all the way in Richmond. If nu brite does as good of a job that greens does I will take it to them!

I've only had positive experiences at Green's both times for mad curbage on 1 piece wheels. I would recommend them to others

I just got my 3 piece wheels completely redone at Panthers last week. They did a great job.

However, one of the rivets were loose and one of the locking wheel nuts were way under torqued when they put the wheels back on for me
