There's the super long street that's similar to our gas town, really hippy type clothing shops that goes on for ever.
Chinatown is a great place to get good viet sub, there's this place i went 3 yrs ago and also last month and their viet buns were still 2.50. totally awesome and unheard of nowadays.

Off The Beaten Path when you go via spadina / chinatown and it's like gas town through the alleys during sat and sunday there are tons of people selling clothing similar to commericial drive. very cool.

Market Square - St. Catharines
it's like our granville island and they have peameal bacon which is something you ahve to try.
The Distillery Historic District
it's like our granville island with more bars and misc shopping. veyr veyr cool.
all in all, i would walk down their version of Robson and then DO NOT go shopping cause it's the same shit as Van, just go to the places I went to mentioned above and you'll have a much better time.
OH, rent a car
1) when you're on the highway, it's call the Collectors = place for cars to merge in, it does NOT mean there's a toll coming up.
2) Sunday morning parking is free until 12 PM so it's pretty good.
