| Looking for help with one specific part, help will be REWARDED!!!
Hi guys,
I'm currently looking for one specific part for my 2006 Nissan 350z, it is the Left Side Rebar Mounting Bracket OEM Part# 62211CD010.
Story is that a week ago I got into a car accident , where this part is damaged, and since it is a structural part of the vehicle it cannot be repaired and thus have to be replaced.
The problem that I am currently facing is that my car is currently being fixed by Craftsman Collision, and they have everything BUT the left side rebar mounting bracket, and its this one specific part that's keeping them from being able to finish all of the repairs on my vehicle.
The reason that they do not still have the part is that apparently they've looked everywhere, contacted Nissan Canada, and there isn't a single one available anywhere in North America. Nissan Canada have said that they would have to order this part in from Japan, and that would take approximately 3 weeks, which would be too long because I'm leaving on Vacation by the 9th of July, and would really like to have my car all fixed up before that. I am offering up a box (12 bottles) of Corona, for the first person that is able to help me find this part by July 4th or before Nissan Canada is able to get it.
Additional Information and Part Standards:
Craftsman Collision said that they are willing to take the part for its actual retail value (somewhere around 50dollars I believe) from whichever source, whether it be parted out from another 350z, or ordered through from another private shop. However the part must be inspected, and must be ICBC approved. Having said that I'd like to clarify that some aftermarket parts will be acceptable, however it is mandatory that it is approved by ICBC (don't worry, Craftsman Collision will be able to check whether if the part is approved or not).
If you are able to find the part, I will give you my contact at Craftsman Collision's contact information and they will follow up with everything else.
Thank you guys for reading, and any help will be appreciated!!
Feel free to shoot me a PM anytime if there is any questions or just leave a message on this thread and I will try to get back to you as soon as possible! Update: Craftsman collision called and dealt with a local Nissan Dealership, and in return the local dealership went and really haggled Nissan Canada to find this part. So turns out that Nissan Canada was able to locate one somewhere back east, and they are supposedly shipping it here and it should arrive by Thursday, so hopefully my car will be done before the weekend. Thanks for all the interest and help guys! It's appreciated!
Edit: This is the part guys http://www.nissanpartszone.com/parts...211-cd010.html

its a bolt on part? | I'm actually looking for a replacement bracket, that'll replace the broken one. I could be wrong about this but I don't think its a bolt on part.
dont think a roller shell is what I'm looking for :S
The mounting bracket that I'm looking for is the component that holds the Rebar to the car. I'll try and get a picture or a diagram of it for you guys. hang on Quote:

But I think that might just be too much work for everybody for 3 weeks, so I'm just looking to get one as a permanent replacement.
Also, without this part. Your vehicle will not be allowed on the road since there will pretty much be no rebar, thus no foam, thus no bumper, even headlights! or anything else in front of the engine bay lol

I found a few sources online, just googling the p/n and most say they're in stock and 3-4 days away. I guess you'd have to actually call or put the order through to find out if it's really available.
Called a few wreckers that would have it but nothing.

GL | I have tried those already, and since those places are all based in the states, they say that shipping will take 2-3 weeks to get here.
Thanks for double checking anyways!

Thanks for double checking anyways! | Might be a bit of a risk but why not ship to Hagens/thelettercarrier and have an RS member go pick it up?
Or even a family member or friend?
There are a few RS members I would trust doing this.

There are a few RS members I would trust doing this. | Yeah I thought about that and it may just come down to this, however the online stores that I contacted says that it still might take up to a week to ship there. So if possible i'd like to grab it from a local source to make things much simpler to deal with. Quote:

So for those of you who wishes to help, please do not go through with purchasing the part yourself and basically spotting me. Because that won't be necessary.
Thanks again.

Just overnight it from Japan F&F style. Or here STAY-FRONT
DHL world wide express will get it to you by the next possible business day for $107 or USPS can have it within 6 to 10 business days for $38 Plus the cost of the part.

I wonder where DealerDirectParts gets their parts from... because if it's directly from the manufacture, it might be backordered. Anyways I will try and contact them tomorrow and ask about it personally.
Thanks for the information, this just might work! In the meantime please keep the ideas coming guys, the more the better! and ofcorse whoever's idea works in the end will receive the reward |

Order it online and ship to PR. I order a part for the Mini and it arrived in 4-5 business days by regular free shipping. When selecting website just check the warehouse location or office location. You would want to buy from a state thats close to BC, and not Florida. Part prices are almost the same everywhere online.
