For LED lights, cooling is most crucial for maximum brightness. Any LED bulb no matter the chipset will not be bright if there is not decent heatsink connected to the chip especially the NP junction. I have yet to see a "plug in" LED replacement that has a decent cooling design. The problem is once the heat reach the heat sink, most reverse light compartment is way to small and there is no where for the heat to go. There are a lot of science in LED headlight design, there are cooling air current that pull heat away etc. Quote:

the other thread was closed so ill just put this here those ppl who gave bimmette shit for calling it the performance spoiler, u do realize that BMW calls all their aftermarket accessories performance exhausts, performance wheels, performance brakes... thus performance spoiler... |

One last thing, at least her posts and videos are related to her car. This member is keeping her posts and videos relevant to what this site represents. It's not like she's walking around wearing scantily clad outfits in heels saying "oh look at me work on cars." I am sure if a male on this forum did the same thing, it would not get the same reception. Tl;dr... play nice, especially to new members. edit. My left headlight went out so bought CN brand replacement bulbs at 6000K. |

besides, what is wrong with replica parts for looks if a) the quality is good and b) the price is right? r u now gonna pull the "if u cant afford the parts, then u shouldnt have bought a bmw" card now? |

A more appropriate comparison :It's like saying someone cheaped out cause they didn't buy a brand name oil cap. At the end of the day as long as it seals the oil into the car who gives a fuck. Neither one is going to do anything more than that. Posted via RS Mobile |

Bought a bunch of LED turn signals. http://i.imgur.com/1V0i06g.jpg Hopefully they turn out to be bright enough |

Not everyone wants to replace their OEM body parts with aftermarket ones. Why get stressed out over fitment, paint matching and all that crap when you can just buy a $150 spoiler off ebay that can be installed and uninstalled easily? And you do realize you're comparing a $100-$150 carbon fiber spoiler with a $2500 carbon fiber trunk? |
I need to get white LED's for my ST. Interior, hatch and the lights under the side mirror. Not sure the best place to order from Posted via RS Mobile |

^ Are they hard to install? Considering re-doing the dome light with LED's... |
Usually oem fitment. |
Hard or not, i think it's worth it. Brand new car, HID's and interior "mood lights" yet it's all let down by very 'amber' interior dome lights and a trunk light that isn't nearly bright enough.. Posted via RS Mobile |
