You guys realize your car doesn't have to be running right? auto or manual are the same, put it in reverse with the ebrake on, and go check.

Leaving it running in gear is retarded

My reverse bulbs light up when the car is in R, but the key is in the 2nd position of the ignition. No need to have the car running to check.

This. The car is so well balanced with the 255's i'm running now I just couldn't upset that by going to a staggered fitment. I still wanted more mechanical grip though, so I just went with 275's square.

Nice! I'm running a 285/40 right now, just got rid of the 305/35 as the profile looked really outta place.

Depending on what you do with your car I think you would LOVE going to a square setup. With staggered fitment it's just understeer for days on these cars...

Brought a creeper from princess auto to work on my cars. Proceed to change the oil on one of my civic. Discover that the creeper isn't nearly low profile enough. Barely had room to work down there and this is on my highest car. Had to max out my jackstand. Add to that my low profile jack is now getting weaker and weaker.

Working on a creeper beats working on my mom's throwaway carpet though!! Soo target now is to get a good low profile jack that can jack my car up 2 stories high lol. Does anyone have a recommendation?

^ seem like they have 24inch reach? My 3 ton jack right now does approx that I believe and I need clearance for creeper. I want a low profile jack that can lift higher does it even exist?

Most low profile jacks I've seen lift about 15" max, but the CDN Tire has a low profile Michelin jack which can lift 24". The kicker is that it costs $300.
Michelin 2 Ton Low Profile High Lift Service Jack | Canadian Tire

I gave up doing my own oil changes on my EF when I switched over to a B18 (lower oil filter position). With the tools I have on hand (low-pro jack and jack stands), there isn't enough clearance to torque off the oil filter. My elbow was on the floor and I could still touch the oil filter.

I felt like a T-Rex trying to open a jar of pickles, it just wasn't going to happen.

I just use two jacks to get the car up higher, or drive it onto some blocks of wood so my taller jack fits.

^yea that what i do now. Use the low profil to get it on to the stands first and than use the heavy duty jack to lift it up to max height. And than the reverse to get it back on the ground. My low profile jack is failing and was wishing for something to replace both jack... Maneuvering around 2 jacks isn't a very elegant solution

I was in the same boat as you before @threezero i had that low profile aluminum jack and it wouldnt let me raise it high enough to be able to use a creeper but not until i bought that 2 ton michelin jack @boibhudda posted.
Best jack ever! Its so solid compare to my old jack it feels strong and allows me to raise the car way higher now
Even raising an suv it doesnt feel like its gonna break into 2 compare to my old one lol.

And the best part about it i dont need to use 2 by 4 anymore to slide the jack under the car
my car for reference

the only downside i can think is its super heavy

If you click on different locations, some places still have it in stock. White rock and market crossing still did last time I checked
