I didn't, the company I bought em from did! I'm innocent!

In other news, they finally arrived! :)

plastidip pearlizer.... I plan on putting this on a graphite gray dipped wheel... with hopes of a hyper silver finish.

I always thought hyper silver was polished aluminum then clearcoated? I'm assuming it'll be difficult to achieve that finish without having sort of a mirror-like finish underneath. In any case, would be cool if you could!

Just picked these up for $500. I hope I don't regret buying used coilovers, but the price was decent enough I can justify the risk. Better than the FK's I have.

I've found its completely "you get what you pay for".

hud 91gt 12-23-2015 06:46 PM

500 bones, but they are probably rebuild able for $100 a piece or so. I'd risk it. Haha

westopher 12-23-2015 07:00 PM

Exactly. A new set of KWs is $2000, so even if I have to spend a bit to make them perfect, I'll be fine. That said, the seller says no leaks, and they ride well, so hopefully he isn't full of shit. Coming from a part out of his M3 that got rear ended I believe.

herman 12-23-2015 07:15 PM

$500 is a very good price. Wish I had found a like deal. Get them rebuilt now and install the fresh set come Spring.

down the road swap out the progressive springs for swift or hyperco linear springs

Lomac 12-23-2015 10:16 PM

Well, that's depressing...

I know, it's not as glamorous as a car shot, but it still technically falls within the thread's guidelines... :p

Edit: Should mention that this is for the Saab. Only a couple of those things are strictly necessary (throttle cable and direct ignition cassette), but I figured I'd might as well do a full maintenance on the car over the winter. That said, it's been in storage for the last year and has only been run a couple times during the summer. I'm sure I'll find some more shit to repair once I start tearing into it. :okay:
