I always thought hyper silver was polished aluminum then clearcoated? I'm assuming it'll be difficult to achieve that finish without having sort of a mirror-like finish underneath. In any case, would be cool if you could!

Just picked these up for $500. I hope I don't regret buying used coilovers, but the price was decent enough I can justify the risk. Better than the FK's I have.

I've found its completely "you get what you pay for".

Exactly. A new set of KWs is $2000, so even if I have to spend a bit to make them perfect, I'll be fine. That said, the seller says no leaks, and they ride well, so hopefully he isn't full of shit. Coming from a part out of his M3 that got rear ended I believe.

down the road swap out the progressive springs for swift or hyperco linear springs
I know, it's not as glamorous as a car shot, but it still technically falls within the thread's guidelines...
Edit: Should mention that this is for the Saab. Only a couple of those things are strictly necessary (throttle cable and direct ignition cassette), but I figured I'd might as well do a full maintenance on the car over the winter. That said, it's been in storage for the last year and has only been run a couple times during the summer. I'm sure I'll find some more shit to repair once I start tearing into it.
