Got a Garmin Dash Cam 20 for those "CYKA BLYAT!!" moments. I was involved in a car accident last month and it would've been useful to have, luckily for me I had a witness who saw the whole thing. Facebook compression has lowered the quality of the video screenshots.

The 1 conversion is coming nicely. Nicely done.

Looks like you are able to do walnut blasting of the valves. I need to get mine done this Spring. Too bad I don't think I am that mechanically inclined to do that yet. Let me know how it goes.

Have you done a brake fluid flush? did you use a Motiv bleeder or the 2 person method?

Spoiler!

This happen to be the one I've seen at Costco by chance? I've looked at it a few times... looks like a decent unit?

Most likely it is, my buddy picked one up for me while he was at Costco buying one for his GF's car as well. So far it's been pretty pretty good even in low lighting but I'm a bit annoyed you cannot turn off GPS coordinates and your speed in the video files (cropped them out on the screenshots)

Ha^ Meanwhile my most of my "Cyka Blyat"s came out Sunday afternoon lying on the ground trying to get these piss poor fitting splitters in place after initially installing them on Thursday. This will be its final resting place which doesn't look too bad

You definitely need to be a little mechanically inclined to this more confidently

I have done brake fluid yep but not on the bimmer just yet.
But its nothin special really all brake system are the same and the 2 man job is sufficient enough.

Good job on cleaning the valves albeit, sounds like a unpleasant DIY job.

Going do brakes during Spring Break, then get the valves cleaned, then tune.

Does buying a new vehicle, 'for my car', count? lol. Decided to upgrade the tow rig, and ended up buying a Titanic-sized project. Cummins diesel swap, 5spd transmission swap, external overdrive unit. Whole truck was disassembled and suspension/frame powder coated. Needs to be finished though. Plan is to finish it as a boring pickup truck first, and then in a year or two swap a classic body onto it with an additional upgrade. CCA Ramp-Truck?!?

Thanks for the heads up on the sale, jackpot.

I ended up buying my summer tires about 15 minutes after reading your post.

A set of BFG Sport Comp 2 for ~$400 versus $520 plus taxes locally.

Nice man So that means you got it for 300$ score!

Yup i got a super sweet deal aswell locally i would have paid 1600$
Down south with the discount its about 170$usd per tire
It also helped that i kept my usd funds i stopped converting it since i pretty much buy all my parts down under

I feel like this thread and "What did you do to your car today" are pretty similar, but here goes.

Changed instrument lights to red LEDS:

Nice set of headlights arrived from Japan, for my conversion project
