^ Maybe we should move to a "winter location" like a undercover parking in Richmond center or something? that way people won't be deterred by the rain. just a suggestion |
IKEA parking lot Posted via RS Mobile |
^any update for new location, spoonEK9 |
we used to have winter meets at Richmond Centre but we got kicked out from time to time. We usually just go Ironwood and hang out in Tim Hortons! Posted via RS Mobile |
where where where!? |
There's a new underground parking lot on marine drive beside the wendy's. It's towards cambie street. Not much in terms of food or coffee but it's covered. There's a starbucks there that closes early and a quiznos to be opening soon. Went there this afternoon. Pretty nice new complex. Posted via RS Mobile |
88-138 SW Marine Dr. Google street view shows that its under construction but everything is open. Cross street is Ontario street Posted via RS Mobile |
we meet there on thursday nights, been doing so for the past few months and its a pretty good location. the security is cool there, except one week there was a different guy and he kicked us out |
is that the place with the new bestbuy and canadian tires? |
^I believe so |
Never been to an RS meet before but I really liked the parking lot underneath the Canadian tire on Grandview and Rupert. I don't know if it's too far for you guys but I remember going their once to sell a few spare parts and the first thing I thought was what a good place it would be for a meet. I've only been there once but I think I remember it being the parkade for a Pricemart underneath Canadian tire. Went there during a huge stormy night, it was perfectly dry and very well lit. Correction: Just checked google maps, it was the Pricesmart parkade by the new Canadian tire. |
It's all about security. |
