Just for clarification, this isn't a BCH meet. I created and hosted these meets long before BCH even existed. So for anyone to try and take credit for work done by others, I can tell you this is simply a lie.

The meet originated as an unofficial thing via the VCC forums. As it grew, I felt it would be nice to see cars other than our Hondas and that's why I posted it here on RS.

As resourceful as the aforementioned forum was, there was always a certain reputation they gave off as being closed minded towards other makes and models. This is something that Revscene clearly does not do. As evidenced by our meets, we seem to be one of the biggest driving forces that brings car clubs all around the lower mainland (and beyond) into one giant meet on a regular basis.

we say it begins at 7 but people generally arrive much later than that. a safer bet is 8pm.

reason most people think its a bchondas meet is because the majority of the year its just bch members that go until the weather get nicer.. in which case its pretty much an RS meet (unofficial)

i usually go with a pretty large group once the weather gets a little warmer.

read carefully, i was referencing how things were with the other forum I mentioned.

was refering to snails who said people will go there, not talk to anyone, and leave.

I think snails was trying to say make sure you talk to people, don't just show up and expect people to automatically talk to you.

oh yeah, that does tend to happen a lot. feel free to introduce yourself. it can be awkward yes, but in general people aren't going to hold your hand when you first come to a meet heh.
