The one we imported that lens can adjustable and rotate vertical and horizontal. Also, you can check from the monitor to see when you adjust lens position.

Yes I know. What I mean is another driver is not going to know or want to adjust the lens. Other then that issue, it would be a great car dvr.

For the customers who worry about break in issue, you can get the rear view mirror built in camera.
Camera is inosculated with rear view mirror, and the mirror is slim as IPHONE 4.[/IMG]

Will this block the homelink etc. buttons that are on the bottom side of most stock rear view mirror?

Lomac 12-17-2012 02:18 PM

The only thing I'd be concerned about with the rear view mirror camera is that on a lot of cars, the mirror is parallel with the tinted portion of the glass. During the day I'm sure it would be fine, but low light performance at night time might be affected somewhat.

DJ Milk 12-17-2012 02:23 PM

^ Good point. And on some cars, they have the dot matrix instead so daytime recording will be blocked by black dots.

mk1freak 12-17-2012 02:55 PM

only bad thing about the rear view mirror one is that most newer cars have so many functions built in to the rearview..like auto dim and remote functions. but its great for older cars, or ones with just a plain rearview i'm thinking. :D

mk1- the rear view dash cam is basically for customer have jdm cars. so it should be fine with oem rear view mirror buttons because most jdm vehicle rear view mirror design is simply except some luxury ones. We just want to carry more products to satisfy different groups of customers.
