I've looked into getting one of these mirror ones but it's only good if you are the only driver of the car. If anyone else drive the cars they will probably adjust the mirror and then the lens won't be adjusted accordingly.
The one we imported that lens can adjustable and rotate vertical and horizontal. Also, you can check from the monitor to see when you adjust lens position.
It is pretty stealthy and can reduce break in issue. Not obvious as the others.
For the customers who worry about break in issue, you can get the rear view mirror built in camera.
Camera is inosculated with rear view mirror, and the mirror is slim as IPHONE 4.[/IMG]
Will this block the homelink etc. buttons that are on the bottom side of most stock rear view mirror?
The only thing I'd be concerned about with the rear view mirror camera is that on a lot of cars, the mirror is parallel with the tinted portion of the glass. During the day I'm sure it would be fine, but low light performance at night time might be affected somewhat.
only bad thing about the rear view mirror one is that most newer cars have so many functions built in to the rearview..like auto dim and remote functions. but its great for older cars, or ones with just a plain rearview i'm thinking.
mk1- the rear view dash cam is basically for customer have jdm cars. so it should be fine with oem rear view mirror buttons because most jdm vehicle rear view mirror design is simply except some luxury ones. We just want to carry more products to satisfy different groups of customers. Posted via RS Mobile
