Hey ASR

Do my dip switches look correct? I accidentally knocked the
Power magic off and might've hit a switch.

My battery is brand new so well over 11.8V

^ your setting is 11.8 V for configure shutting voltage.
If your battery is fresh, make 2nd switch up. 12v for cutting power off is good enough.l

Timer is infinity.

Blackvue hardwiring to Fuse box

Blackvue hardwiring done properly on a vehicle
Blackvue dr380g HD with power magic pro isntalled on Nissan Xterra

First, you need to get your vehicle fuse diagram. Most vehicle fuse diagram is on fuse cover. Some of vehicle has diagram in the trunk, and some of vehicles show the diagram on user manual.

Choose the right fuse on the fuse panel

Since the fuse panel is locate beside the glove box, I need to take the glove box first.
Disassemble

After loosen all screws, I have more spaceto work on the fuse panel.

Pull Room Lamp fuse and accessory cigar fuse out of fuse panel, and zip tie the wiring harness

Testing Voltage of your battery is important before install wiring harness.

Plug the yellow wire in non-power side of the room lamp fuse socket. If you wire it to power side of your room lamp fuse socket, the wires might be heater very fast, and your fuse panel might be scerewed up.

Testing the accessory cigar fuse socket circuit voltage. Before testing that, turn the vehicle power to accessory first. Plug the red wire to the non-power side on the cigar fuse socket.

Find a metal bolt to get grounding power

OEM grounding harness is not really sensitive. So get an aftermarket grounding connector if you can.

Plug in harness to power magic pro, testing power magic pro powered properly or not.

Plugging the oem cigar cable to the power magic pro socket, and mounting your camera to initialize the device to sd card.

If you guys have any trouble to do hardwiring with dash camera, I'd like to share my experience.

Joh, you can try to drive around and see what happen. What is your setting for Motion detection and G-Sensor detection in parking mode? Please lower that, otherwise your camera is always on recording.

Sometimes the cmos sensor change color when the lighting changed. Take a look for 1 or 2 days.

I'm not using parking mode at all.
Currently it's only recording during driving only.

To answer your 2nd question, there was absolutly no change in lighting.
It is exact same underground parking lot without any windows.

Anyways, I guess this should be discussed offline. I'll PM you later.
