Get a third generation Acura TL.
Find one with a tranny already swapped or rebuilt, and you'll have very reliable car, low maintenance/insurance, comfy to drive and has the power when you need it.

They're under 13k last I checked. If you can afford more, the Type-S will give you more ponies under the hood.

3G TL's are around 15-20k for the base nowadays. Type-S you're looking at at least 20k for a clean one and its not <6s in 0-60.

The problem with your budget and some of the listed cars is that annual maintenance could easily be more than 1/3 of the purchase price. E.g., Easily $5K for a Boxster S if you don't do labour yourself.

If you really could afford the maintenance, I doubt your budget would be so low.

Well...I picked up a 2005 3G TL myself, fully loaded with Nav and A-Spec front lip and transmission rebuilt. 112,000 KM for $13,000 last December. I'd imagine the price could only go down. The average was about $14,000-$15,000 when I was searching in the market back then.

S2000

Of all my cars, my favorite was my S2000. I want another one so bad, and I want to put a GT40r on it. I remember so many fun times with that car!

Parts are dirt cheap, it looks great, handles great, is SO fun to drive, and girls will assume you have a large penis driving a car that small.

I've seen them for as little as 5k. Most 04 base models hover around 10k or less..

If I had 15 grand I'd be looking at an ITR (if you can find one that hasn't been molested), EP3 or maybe a TSX. Good on gas (mostly) and they look great. Looking at your list I wouldn't get any of those.. Call it my preference but the maintenance costs down the road ohh buddy

I'd get an e46 coupe (330 or 325i) with that price range. It'll probably use the least gas on that list and it'll handle nice on the road I have never owned a Benz, but I hear the repairs can be insane. Why do you need a car that does 0-60 in 6 seconds and how old are you might I ask? I am guessing you are either in high school or just graduated.

I don't know why you would consider a boxster, since they are generally considered as your hair dresser's car kinda like the Audi TT, but if that's how you swing then i guess go for it.

Assuming that you can afford the maintenance of a Porsche, e500 or a 745i. Why don't you just factor reliability into your price as well? If you buy a reliable car like a Lexus you could easily bump your budget into 23-25k
