Without watching the trailer, here's my guess at the plot... again:
Lower class guy who secretly likes dancing runs into a higher class girl who dances in a studio. They randomly dance together and start to fall for each other. Try to be together against the scrutiny of everyone around them. Big dance ending to prove they love each other. Rinse and repeat.
I'll admit, the dancers in the movies are talented. But as far as story and acting, these movies have always made me shake my head.

Young talented male dancer must save his struggling studio/school/dance career by winning the headlining dance competition. He discovers his potential dance partner/love interest who is not a traditional b-girl and must train her and his ragtag group of dancers through a series of training montages. Conflict arises and they must band to together to win the event, causing the female lead to jump into the male lead's arms for that final embrace, cue credits.
you're both wrong well kinda..from what the trailer showed its not really like that, but somewhat. I find the plot is a bit different then the other ones

Kathryn McCormick, the chick that plays the female lead, is a smokin' hot dancer. I remember her from So You Think You Can Dance. She's just stupid gorgeous.
I always watch these movies just for the dancing,
if I even remotely engage my mind to the stupid fucking plots it'd just make me want to smash the tv.
