so i've been doing some reading and apparently there should be at least 2-3 queen wasp when a nest is present, it might seem impossible but i was thinking of how to get her to come out so i could quarantine her lol

i think imma try to get my hands on those heavy duty clear garbage bags and go on from there, but im still looking for options on what to do with it after... my gf suggested that i should throw it over to my annoying neighbors backyard ... hahaha i really wish i could :troll

Okay I've done the bee on a string... they will just fly around in a circle horizontally

so.. my idea is to get a helium balloon and armour it from stings maybe wrap it in tape and then someohow tie the nest to it and watch it go to the heavens

I figure the best way to do this is to catch the nest in a plastic bag and then tie it to balloon, then rip off the bag just as you let it go. Good luck!

It'd be hilarious if there was no wind and the wasp nest/balloons combo went straight up. Balloons expand due to lower atmospheric pressure and then pop. And then the nest falls right back into the OP's backyard.

I had a wasp nest by my front stoop a few years ago. Typically I leave them alone as they eat the bugs that eat my garden but every time I closed the front door they came at me.
A 14' x 1-1/4" PVC pipe, landscape irrigation type (it's lighter), hooked to the shopvac got me far enough away from them. It took about 15 minutes to suck it all up, little bites or clogging ensued.
A cool morning before they get going is best.
What to do with a vacuum of angry wasps? Hook 'em up to the exhaust pipe of the truck and asphyxiate.
Whatever pheromone they release really stank up the vac for a long time so don't use her hoover.
Freeze the larvae for excellent fishing bait.
The rest went in the compost.

Or you could try this,

Honeybees are serious business. They're responsible for the pollination of dozens of plants.

Without honeybees, we'd be suffering. Seriously.

Why save one hive? Because one hive DOES make a difference. The coverage area of a single hive is larger than you'd expect.

Honeybees are sensitive to environmental change and pollution. Entire colonies can collapse rapidly and 'colony collapse syndrome' is a growing trend. We need to do what we can to stop it.

Fuck Mosquitoes. Fuck Pandas. Fuck the Vancouver Island Marmot. Let them die painful deaths.

Honeybees are important.

If you'll excuse me, I think I need to take a shower because I suddenly feel like MindBomber and I want to wash that feeling off before I buy a VW Bus and drive the country to get signatures to save the tasty looking rare Vanuatuan Megapode

OP take a look at this company and ask about their hive removal service. I'm pretty sure they would be able to tell you if its honeybee or something else.

honeybeecentre.com

they are located in surrey

I had those a few times. First time, I grabbed a tree pruning stick and moved the hive to open area. Dropped a fire starter onto it, watch it burn inside the house. Second time, I dropped the hive into the garbage bin, then drilled a hole on the lid and filled 2 cans of Raid into it. Duct tape the hole and wait for a few days.

Da fuck maybe it's cause I haven't stumbled upon a nest like that in person before but if I were you, this would be my reaction:

"OMG WTF IS THAT KILL IT WITH FIRE" and run out screaming like a little girl.

My neighbour had a hornets nest in a tree next door.. He wasn't the smartest guy and I wish I filmed it.. Pretty much tried everything and eventually succeeded.

Throw shit at it = Fail.
Use pressure washer = Fail.
Hit with giant pole and knock it down = Fail. (This option made it impossible to walk out my front door as the hornets just fly around in a crazy state for about 3 days)
Light the fucker on fire wearing full snow gear = Win.

He used fucking fire starting fluid, drenched the whole hive it in and then threw a match on it. Almost burned down the tree and his house.. But it was HILARIOUS.

What I learned?:
