SR-520 Toll road in Seattle Any BC plate driver experienced crossing this toll road in Seattle did you get the ticket in the mail? |
I went through a few months back and have not yet received any ticket. Kev |
I went on that route a few months before my insurance renewal. Nothing yet. |
I called, a month or two ago, the Washington State motor vehicle office to ask how I can pay for a crossing I took earlier this year after the new toll went into effect. I told the lady I was from BC and she said that they had reciprical agreements with other states and that the bill will be sent to me. I reiterated that I was from BC a province in Canada, she then checked with a co-worker and told me that they do not have any agreements with BC yet and so therefore we do not need to pay any tolls, at least not for the time being. |
If you are talking about the I-5 to Bellevue, I took that route in May. Nothing received in the mail. |

Free for BC cars :fullofwin: |
I crossed the 520 toll bridge yesterday coming back from Bellevue. I had my wallet ready but it turns out there were no toll booths to pay at. After giving their hotline a call today, the guy I spoke with on the phone was pretty useless. At first he said I needed to wait for a bill in the mail which can take up to 2-3 months to arrive. He then said I probably don't have to pay it since I am from Canada. But he also ended the call with "call back in 2 months if you don't get a bill." I am still pretty confused. |
He probably doesn't know where or what Canada is. |
Is that the floating bridge? I noticed they put a toll on it....it used to be free before IIRC. |
