Questrade vs Interactive Brokers

Looking for a good broker
questrade software looks nice and all but I am looking for best software.

Getting mixed reviews from both websites. And the Questrade 100 free trades does look like a good deal.

Just thought I'd throw in a suggestion, how about QTrade?

I've been using it to invest for a while now, however, it's on the pricy side about $19, but the level of customer service more than makes up for it. Also, very reliable platform, hasn't bugged out on me yet.

I also have an account with Questrade as well, but only for trading. It's design and network seems to be buggy at times.

I've used both.

I no longer have a questrade account.

I still have my interactive brokers account.

Questrade fucking sucks balls. Their chat is incompetent and it takes forever to get them on the phone.

^ When I switched to IB from QT... i almost jizzed my self at how amazing the TWS platform was... jesus christ its powerful. IB #1 brokerage canadian can get

if u trade penny stocks and in Huge lots like in the 10s of thousands then it might not be for u tho.

PornMaster 07-26-2012 11:18 PM

just investing in stocks in general

I heard penny stocks is a completely different beast

IB applies the pattern day trader rule to Canadians. So if you daytrade and have less than 25K in your account, IB is not for you

Trading with cash not equity so its fine
