GTX 560 ti 448 VS GTX 570 HD. $10 difference, which to buy?

ok I ordered the Gigabyte 560 Ti 448, but NCIX is selling the eVga 570 HD this week for $10 more.

is it worth it to move to the higher card?

i value my quiet so i'm afraid the 570 is too loud, esp with the reference single fan. the 560 ti is supposed to be pretty quiet even with 3 fans.

i'd say the 2 things to consider would be a) 480 vs 448 cuda cores, and b) evga and their step up program.

aside form that, not a massive difference. thus go with the quieter card if that's important to you.

The two are essentially running off the same core, except that the 560 Ti 488 CUDA shaders crippled from the factory, so graphics performance should be quite similar. In addition to the potential noise issue (the Gigabyte should be quite a bit better here), another worthwhile consideration is whether you plan on running SLI at any point in the future. I know for a fact that the 560 Ti 488 can only do SLI with another 560 Ti 488 card, and selection for this card is much smaller. The 570 gives you a lot more options should you want to do SLI some time down the road.

Personally, if you have no plans to go SLI, I'd just stick with the Gigabyte and keep the $10.
