Chest Freezer Problems

I have a small Igloo chest freezer.. Bought it about 6-8months ago.

It stopped working. I open the panel and hear a popping or clicking sound from this black circular item, motor or compressor?

The power and run lights are on.

Anyone know if the motor or compressor is gone? is it replaceable or better of buying a new one? Or is it out of the A/C cooling stuff and needs refilling??

Thanx for any help.

Hi, that's a problem on your compressor. But since its only 6-8 months old, i guess you're still under the warranty period. If not, you can buy compressors on refrigeration stores.
