I call bullshit. You're downplaying your speed. I drive 60 km/h all the time, and even 65 if the road is clear. Never once had problems with the police at these speeds.

ive had a similar run in where i saw a cop tailgating me running plates and whatnot so i pulled over parked in a spot, and got outta my car proceeded to walk across the street away from them, he jumped out his squad car asked me to wait up I turned and told him to literally go fuck himself go harass actual criminals...
he proceeded to rush and handcuff me and give me a speech on respect, but uncuffed me afterwards and let me go, he had no choice as I wasnt doing anything wrong whatsoever

but dont take my experience for it, because that cop was a well seasoned veteran around 50 years old, if it was some younger guy hothead rookie i probably would have gotten tazed and batoned

honestly, fuck pigs. I flip off every pig car i see. Never been pulled over. dirty looks, sure, but fuckem.

they should be paid less so it will weed out people who are doing it for the money vs helping others, saving lives etc.

(In my mind) i think a lot of cops are highschool bullies who were able to graduate which meets the qualifications of becoming a cop. + working out + w.e. yes i realize there needs to be more than just a hs. diploma but still in a very short amount of time, it can be achieved which is too easy imo

Odd, I've always driven at 60km/hr when the stated limit is 50 and in the 12 years that I've been driving, I've never received a ticket for it. I even do this beside officers, not that I'm challenging the law, but I figured it was some unwritten understanding amongst all that it was okay to do so.

Even on my class 6 road test a few years back, ICBC examiners expect you to ride at 57km/hr, which I did, and lo and behold, I passed with no issues. I had also taken my riding classes from PRS, which prior to the exam had told me to ride at that speed.

So, for you to tell us that you're driving just 5km over the speed limit, you must not be telling us the full story. I call shenanigans.

ive driven 60 kmph beside a cop when i had my wrx with a loud exhaust and never had issues.... definitely downplaying the entire situation! i wouldnt be suprised if you actually did finger the officer and your just trying to justify your offence on revscene...

hell yesterday i was speeding and swerving in a lane kuz my laptop on the passenger seat kept on hitting the shifter and i was constantly trying to move it while driving.

cop pulls me over obviously, thinking im drunk but i tell her that my laptop was the reason i was distracted and wasnt watching my speed and lane position

the WHOLE time i treated the cop with respect and i got treated back with respect, and she let me go without a ticket.

i couldve just as easily been fucking around with the cop, go home with a few tickets and complain about why the world fucking hates me
