The only cop I would give the middle finger to is zulutango, LOL.

j/k............ I never mess with cops. They have a tough job and I respect most, if not all, of them. There are bad ones, no doubt, but there are rotten apples in any field. I have many friends in the VPD. You need to walk a mile in their shoes, man.

.

Really? I'm not familiar with Class 6 road test. But speed limits are 50km/h.
Back when I took my road test, I knew of people and hear stories of people who would fail if they go above 55km/h
and maintain it for over 10 seconds or something like that. You're already getting points deducted for going over 52km/h.

Either they're more lenient on class 6 tests or things have changed a lot now.
ICBC examiners were pretty serious business on any rules being broken, whether it was signalling late,
not stopping behind the crosswalk line, rolling stops, etc, and especially, Speeding.

yep, I had that in question too. But it's what I did and passed, my friends that took the roadtest as well followed the same instructions. It's weird how it can differ from class 5 to class 6 in terms of speed limit, but it leads me to believe that 60 and under is the accepted threshold. Hope I'm nt jynxing myself here lol

Got so many No N sign tickets ... most because i got caught speeding and instead they give me a no n sign so i don't get points. I still got suspended twice.

yogenfruz 07-31-2012 07:15 PM

I never undertood why kids drive around without their N. You have a car, freedom, everything, who cares if you have a green magnet on your car for 2 years. If it's that big of am issue for you, don't drive. And especially don't bitch about getting "failure to display an N" tickets. You're fucking stupid and deserved it.

AW607 07-31-2012 07:59 PM

Makes me think how people might get away with tucking 90% of their N signs underneath their license plates. Even people who flip it sideways so it looks like a "Z" :fuckthatshit:

if the test was taken in surrey and the school was PRS, then i can concur with Eatman. i seem to recall that the speed limit (at least around PRS) was 60 and the examiners at the icbc road test office across the street from PRS want you to show them that you had confidence and full control of the bike while riding in traffic. they would DEDUCT marks if you rode slow and were diffident.

i lucked out on my class 6 test. it was in late fall. noon rush hour. raining cats and dogs. everybody was driving slower than usual, so did i. more time to relax and concentrate on what i was supposed to do to pass the test. also stretched the test out till max time spent.

Worst day of your life? Fucking first world problems.

Iceman_2K 07-31-2012 11:05 PM

Dude you got caught with no N - your own fault. You think going 5km over the limit is bad? Try getting a ticket for a license plate frame from the auto dealer that the cop felt was just a tad too big and covered a quarter of the renewal sticker.

I've always wondered, do police ever pull people over for tucking in their "N" or placing it sideways?

Back when I was a novice driver, I had a sheet of carbon fiber sticker and traced out the "N" shape and stuck it on the "N" sign.
So my "N" on my sign was "carbon fibered"

I thought I was so badass that I wouldn't drive anywhere without rocking that on the back of my car............ :lol

Too bad they don't implement this same logic with cars. People should feel confident going at least 60km/h in the city streets, or I'll find their driving abilities questionable.

Iceman_2K 07-31-2012 11:10 PM

There are some people no matter what speed they're going you're going to find their driving abilities questionable.

Look at cops in other countries.

The less you pay police, the less everyone's life is worth. Think about it.

Shorn 08-01-2012 12:33 AM

when i had my N i never put it on, not cause it doesn't look cool but it appears people drive more like douchebags behind you if they see you have an N sign. ricers like to rip it past you, people like to cut you off more.

never got caught though

You really don't think we're paying enough?

cliffhanger33 08-01-2012 01:28 PM

I think a reason why some ppl dont put N sign on is when they pack the car above their allowed limit. If not, I really don't see why people don't bother putting up their N sign.
