By shifter leak I hope they're talking about Rear Main Seal, pretty much a good idea to do this while doing oil pan is dropped since their all in the same vicinity

PPI or not, these are common wear and tear items on a BMW of that age. It boils down on who ends up picking up the tab.

Nixon has been good to me in the past and would recommend them again.

Yep. This is my shop of choice.
If you are looking specifically in Burnaby, I'd contact TSS first. They aren't BMW specific, but an awesome shop who cares about the community.
