Gym Promotions?

Anyone know of any gym promotions in the Vancouver / Richmond area?

Did a search, no topic on this.

I remember getting a flyer for Steve Nash Fitness world as well for memberships for around $19 month. Not sure what the catch is though.

I go to downtown location, but then it'll get packed during rush hour evening, but it'll die around 6 or 7pm depending on days.

The room is big but there is only one squat rack which that is a downside.

Just started to look around and yes, you must take a look at Club 16, I don't know how they can do it. Basic is $14.99/mth, no contract. There is a higher level one for $19.99 that allows you to go to other Club16 locations, 25% off retail ... whatever. But I'm shocked at how affordable this is for new, state of the art facilities. They need to open one up in Richmond.

It's most likely 19 per month with a large initiation fee and access to a single gym.

I looked into Nash and they have different tiered membership whereas Club16 $15/mth allows you to do everything and some classes. They also have 'sales agents' which hound you to death to sign, I wonder if they are on commission. Different business model between Nash and Linden ... I think Linden wins this one hands down.

They are ALWAYS on commission, and on quota too. I'm in sales myself, but they can be really bullshitty and pushy.

When this happens, I leave, and I come back and sign up with someone else....hoping that the annoying sales rep watches over as he loses a sale.

I currently go to this one, price is great but there isn't much equipment, dumbbells only go up to 90. It is a very busy gym, around 6pm isn't too bad. I'm switching back to Goodlife Fitness in Sept
