Well, I did it.

The shifter, clutch, engine and chassis are something to experience. I look back at my original post and laugh at my hesitations now. Thanks guys for tipping me over the edge. This is the best car I have driven to date. Totally smitten.

I will miss the STI as it's a fantastic only car. Fortunately, I sold it to another long-time RSer. Can't wait to see what he does with it.

Kev

Awesome switch! Glad we were able to convince you.

"Please take good care of your S2000, keep it by your side for long and enjoy it from the bottom of your heart. And share the quality and legacy of the S2000 with many friends so that the legend of the S2000 will continue for long” – Shigeru Uehara, the creator of the S2000.

Now go out there and soak up some sun (when it comes out).

And fwiw, you got the best color combo too.

Thanks Energy. To be honest you really said a lot of things that I could relate to. Another car I was considering was a 335i, and your comment about having so much power that it's difficult to use in the city really struck a chord with me. That and your own regret of having to move on from your S really made me think I have to try it.

Time to go for a drive!!

Kev

I just told you what every other s2000 owner would have said. That car is truly special and has the power to evoke an emotional response from its drivers which is a thing that cannot be said for a majority of the cars out there now.

Whether you own the car for 6 months or a year or 3 years you'll never forget the time you had it. Hopefully you enjoy the car as much as I did!

Now I'm remembering all the good times I had with my S

Excellent choice Kev. That AP2 looks really clean. Is it from dealership or private? Care to inform us how much you paid for it?

When I had supercharged my S2000, the first weekend I was running the 11 psi pulley, I nearly pooped my pants with excitement each and every time I floored it.

I miss that car.

I remember dozens of beautiful sunsets at my back, driving around with beautiful long haired young girls, carefree summer nights stealing kisses on the way back to my bedroom.

Beautiful colours, enjoy it!

I am not sure if the prior owner has taken it out already? I've experienced a CDV once before on a Genesis coupe and don't notice anything like that sensation on the S. Is it a very subtle delay?
