Pretty sick, haters must be driving FWD.

Every year I go to formula D the more and more I want to build a drift car.

the event took place at the F440 go-kart track, so yeah it would definitely be a low speed course. but trust me, those peeps in the vid are some of BC's best drifters.

We have an agreement with the owner, it isn't just a set amount for anyone that wants to rent it.

On another note, this will be now happening on Wednesdays 7-9:30pm and Fridays 7-10pm. Come watch and see for yourselves how awesome it actually is.

Hey guys,

I'm looking to give drifting a shot, are these sessions still happening?

I've heard they have been shut down but can't seem to confirm.

TIA!

it was shut down due to noise complaints from residents. No more F440 drifting

that is quite a shame. Have you guys tried contacting other local kart tracks?

Italian Motors just made a new one in Sumas Wa.
SIMA Racing |

The fantastic Facility Greg Moore Raceway:
Greg Moore Raceway | West Coast Kart Klub | West Coast Kart Club

I understand many facilities might not be interested in the possible abuse of drifting, however, there are facilities like Pacific Grand Prix in Washington that do host drift events. (PGP Motorsports Park - Go Kart Racing, Go Kart Rentals, Seattle, Tacoma, Bellevue)

It might just help to show president if you contact local venues.

IIRC couple of BCRWD memebers were doing a Drift What you Drive practice/learning session at Western Speedway. Not sure when they're doing it again

I'm attempting teach myself how to drift in the next couple months.

If ANYONE knows of upcoming events, could you please post them up here?

Thanks for the link gloors! Hopefully they do something similar again!

As far as other kart tracks go Van240sx, Greg Moore Raceway has no interest. PGP has been shut down for drifting as well. Not too sure about the SIMA though.

As far as other local events, there's one at Western Speedway on Monday. Check out capitaldrift.ca - they hold monthly events.

Also Drift Union holds events at Penticton Speedway regularly. driftunion.com

Otherwise if you want to go to the states, there is Evergreen drift in Monroe - evergreendrift.com

Thanks so much SHIFT_drift!!

Very frustrating I can't make it out to the Monday one!

I know there are drift events in Packwood Washington, have any idea who hosts those ones?

The northwest SCCA runs those, but I haven't heard of that happening for quite a while, and their website for the drift events is down.
