What security software would you recommend?

Hi,
What security software would you recommend me getting? Free or not, it doesn't really matter.

Right now all I have is Malwarebytes, but I still need an antivirus.

Thanks

If you're a careful internet user, you really don't need antivirus!

But I would recommend Kaspersky.. prices for a legit key are cheap, and it was perfect when I used it a few years back.

+1 for MSE. It's free, it's all the protection you need, and it's got one of the smallest footprints (uses less system resources).

I used to use AVG, which bloated more with each yearly update. I'm currently using MSE.

Microsoft Security Essentials. Use to use AVG but it's to bloated now.

I use Malwarebytes at work, it's pretty good.

For antivirus, I would recommend NOD32.

not really.. i do have kaspersky or eset or something (cant remember, i dont use it).. i dont enbable any of the of options, i dont scan.... lol maybe once a month if I feel like it... I can honestly say everytime IF I did do scan, it was clean.. and yes, when I do scan, I always update the definitions...

I do think I have MSE, not sure if I enabled it or not...

Warez-bb is actually pretty good to catch people if they post virus's or not... I always download from posters with over 10,000 posts or "Legend Of Warez" status... haha just to feel safer

I don't have any security on my computer and I download a fuck load of shit everyday. Once in a while I get the stupid fake antiviruses and I just remove them but that's pretty much it. I'm not too careful of what I download either.

Imo you don't really need it.

A virus can infect the system to a point where the anti virus doesn't even detect it anymore.. So it doesn't necessarily mean that you are clear of any viruses. Most systems out there have at least have malware on their systems.
