Japanese cars are popular for their superior quality, fuel efficiency and its high technology in terms of safety and comfortability. In addtion to the great fuel comsumption,which is very helpful in these days, Japanese cars are less maintenance required and a lot more durable compared to other cars. Yearly 380,000 Japanese used cars are being exported all over the world. They are loved by many people.

When Japanese people buy new cars, they usually use them just for four to five years because of the Shyaken law (Inspection law). For driver's safety this law requires all the cars to be inspected every two years after the initial three years inspection. This inspection is very pricey and it makes the car owners keen to buy new cars with 3 year inspection. Japanese people prefer to sell their cars before 5 year's car inspection. Because after 5 years of use, the car's resale value falls sharply. Although average used cars which has been used for 5 years still runs smoothly just like a new car. Japanese people do not usually buy used cars due to the Shaken law. Therefore the prices of used cars are much cheaper compared to the world average.

However, until recently when people wanted to sell his car, they used to go to car dealer shops and they buy them for a very cheap price.And if a person wanted to buy a used car he had to buy at a high price at dealer shops. The development and increased role of car auctions removed this margin gap between the sellers and buyers, and made it easy for car owners and buyers to deal directly on the auction. This resulted in reducing car price.
