The John Norwich Riders CornerIn honour of our fellow moderator: John Norwich R.I.P. September 17th, 2014
Buy, sell, trade bikes and gear, set up bike rallies, meet discussions. #revscenebikes
thanks guys! first things first. chop the stock can to 1/3rd height LOL
so what trickle chargers do you guys use? the cold ass weather today made it very very VERY hard to start the bike. figured i might as well plan ahead and wire one up (as with the USB cable mod someone did on here as well).
looking for good price & good enough to not burn the house down
thanks guys. fasked a few riding co workers and they all use battery tender jr's. my friend had a spare in the garage so i borrowed it to try out for the next few days. just wired it in now and is hidden under the rear seat
Went riding this morning for an hour before work. Pouring rain but not very cold out. Got a bunch of thumbs up from random ppl. They must be happy to see riders in the winter still.
Thoughts on the muffler: not too much louder in the upper rev range but idle and ~70km/h noise is up a lot. Sounds great and I'm very happy, especially since it was a free mod. But now it's time to start riding with ear plugs

I think I saw you in the morning, as well as just now in your Focus on Bridgeport?
My girlfriend was just driving home so maybe her? I'm at work now but there is also another blue focus st somewhere near Bridgeport. I see him going to and fr work

I love it when I see riders out in all conditions, mucho respect for them, especially once the weather has turned. Makes me miss my gung-ho days of "gonna ride rain or shine no matter what" but now I (sheepishly) retreat to the warmth of the heated seats in my car.
So ride on for the rest of us, that confine ourselves to our cages, until we come out of hibernation. We see you guys (and gals) and think

Where can i find agv helmets locally? Would like to try one on before i place an order online. Also, where do you guys get your tires? Looking specifically for an 07 gsxr. TIA!
+1 for Bayside. And if you consider shipping and other charges they usually have a very competitive price on lots of stuff. Good luck.

+1 for Bayside as well. Have bought a couple of pairs of tires there and ordered lots of parts. Don't go in expecting a showroom but if you know what you want the prices are very good. Recommend them for sure.

picked up a rear stand for the ladies bike. got home and realized it doesn't take spools like a modern bike, but needs what i would describe as an "L" bracket to sit under her rear swingarm.... guess that means i just got a new rear stand!
does anyone know if you can just buy inserts for the rear stand? or shuold i just make my own by welding some angle iron to a bolt
