couldn't take it anymore. warmed it up to operating temp and "rolled" it around the neighborhood a few times to keep everything moving. also made the exhaust a little louder. its purrrrrfect now.

Took out the Husky for the first time Saturday. Rode for 4 hours(Stanley Park, UBC, Richmond, Horseshoe Bay, BBY Mountain).. Found out the hard way the Fuel light doesn't work. Luckily I was at the top of BBY mountain and was able to coast down the mountain to the Chevron.. Wont make that mistake again..

lol, the F4i is the first bike i've had with a fuel indicator of any type. i made a habit of using the trip meter to gauge my fuel.

I get 190-210kms a tank, I'm filling up almost every time I ride unless just commuting in which case I can make it 4-5 days.

Ya, I was just too into the moment to remember that these things take gas. :P

This never happened to me on my ruck, but then i'm used to group rides and the 2strokes always needed to gas up. So I was never low.. Luckily it didn't happen on the hwy. I didn't use the trip odo, but will start using that more often.

How many of you guys ride with a helmet cam? If so, what do you use? I'm looking for something inexpensive. Cant really afford a gopro.

I've only ever used GoPro, but I have heard good things about Contour cameras. This one is supposed to be pretty good value for money from what a friend of mine says, and from reviews I've read.

I use a GoPro hero3 black but if that's out of your price range, one of my friends uses a Contour Roam.

My CBR600RR had a great fuel meter that was very accurate... for a very long time I thought the fuel meter on my Daytona was defective because it was so inaccurate. Then I realized it was the engine's temperature gauge.

Sure, but you don't get that awesome GoPro logo in the beginning of your videos which means less youtube views!

How are those mirrors? Do they vibrate much or are they pretty useable? I bought some cheap plastic mirrors for my old bike and they vibrated so much that they were not even worth having! Wish I had spent a bit more money and got something decent but I ended up selling the bike in the end.

^

Haven't had a chance to ride it yet since changing but from other reviews I've read no they don't.

Edit: Cost of the mirrors I thnk was around $130 or so each plus I had to buy the barends and the ones I chose were the Rhinomoto type which were $70 for the pair so all told probably $330ish. The mirrors are CRG Arrow. There are quite a few people using that combo on this bike, I liked the look more then the circle shaped option but it's a personal preference thing.
