^ thanks man.

CL is retarded. some dude is asking way more than what's it worth.

i know it's not fast but the fact its so small and so easyto just start, pick up and go. i thought it would be a great toy.

thansk my man, great insight.

Also the 2015 models have different color combos. You can go that route if you feel looks are important.

i know what you mean about speed vs fun. again with my modded ruckus it topped out at about 75km/h, but thats all you needed to have fun around the city.

went riding to stanley park, all around ubc/spanish banks, back down west marine to richmond, side streets to steveston, then dyke road all the way back to queensborough then river all the way back home. nice little 100km jaunt.

ps: i used one with the ruckus, my kawasaki and now the girlfriends gixxer. who is dumb enough to pay $100+ on a bike cover, when a very high quality BBQ cover from costco is $19.99?? waterproof, heat resistant, fits easy and if you fold the mirrors away, easily reaches the ground. srsly guis..

Its the next Ruckus.. LOL

In the US they're huge in the stunting scene. Not as big here, cause why spend $3500 on a 125cc(cant even use it for a road test), when you can buy 600cc's for the same price...

6793026 03-08-2015 08:49 PM

i think you and i are on the same boat brother; don't need a real bike cause we already have one and since for 3800 + 300 bucks insurance a yr, fully insuring it and riding during days like last week is ideal.

but yes, if u have no legit bike, 3500 would get you an old 03-05 600cc bike which is also a great beginner bike.

like the ruckus, people are really attaching themselves to the msx125, but more worldwide than the ruckus.

spoilered.

Dragon-88 03-09-2015 09:32 PM

Ya, 125cc are standard in Asia, which is why the market is so big. Its the next Honda Civic.. The mods are endless.

Add some non-essential side bars and it looks like a Ducati

Fender Eliminator installed. Had to use LED signals as the stocks were to big and would rub against my exhaust. Luckily i had some spares sitting around.

For anyone who went to the tradex bike show this year, does anyone remember (or take a picture) of the remote control cars booth? Was wondering what hobby store/website that was.

Thanks!

got my date for class 6 road test (march 22nd) so i figured i better start finishing some of the other touches on my bike. took off a few plastic pieces to respray in trim black. removed the tank to spray. also checked the air filter and cleaned the airbox. the throttle bodies are beautifully clean. shine a light down into them and you can see the valve stem seals have some oil and combustion guck on them, but hey, almost 22,000km. theres gonna be some grime.

What has two thumbs, and just passed the class 6 road test? This guy right here.

I'm cold and wet. Had to ride from Richmond to Abbotsford and back for the test in pouring rain. Now on couch in pajamas enjoying a well earned afternoon beer
