yah dude, those tire compounds aren't made for borderline freezing temperatures lol. just be glad you have ABS because if you stabbed the front brakes on another bike you'd be on the ground before you knew it. ride safe.

Anyone here interested in purchasing a Scorpio i900 alarm system? Includes proximity sensor, engine cut off and tilt sensor.

trying to decide what to do with this bike. keep it as a daily rider and just enjoy it? or start trying to make it mint again. one is free, the other costs money. if i eventually looked at a new bike i dont think it would even be a 600cc. any sportbike can outperform me

Does anyone here have a icon armada helmet? How do they like it?

Raid3n 02-11-2016 05:19 PM

the icon airmada helmets are pretty old, they're painted HJC's fyi.
the face shield has a really good seal, not sure on the fitment shape though.
my friend has had one for a good while. he seems to like it enough.

320icar 02-11-2016 07:53 PM

I love the look of them. But then go try some on.... Trying to get your head into the helmet is FUCKING ridiculous. Then once it's on it feels loose as hell

Raid3n 02-11-2016 11:16 PM

^means it's the wrong shape for you.

I was rear ended on my scooter last night. Very minor, was waiting to turn right onto Hwy 97 and there wasn't going to be a break in traffic for another fives seconds, when I noticed a VW Golf coming behind me, the driver was only looking left and rolled into my bike.

Sadly, about the same time, a fatal motorcycle accident in Vernon occurred on Hwy 97...

Fuuuuuck. Hope your okay

604STIG 02-15-2016 11:41 AM

Glad to hear you weren't seriously injured. And RIP rider.

DKaz 02-15-2016 07:21 PM

Thanks guys, I'm ok. The scooter took the brunt of things including cracked fender and rear body piece.

Anyone have there rear shock revalved/resprung? I was looking at it as a more cost effective way to redo the rear suspension of my bike, it's less then half the price of replacing the shock. I don't track my bike so I don't know if I would benefit that much from buying after market assuming the improvement on having the old one redone is decent.

The stock suspension on this bike is pretty bad as is made worse even worse by the fact that I weight over 230 pounds.

kyoshi 02-16-2016 08:29 PM

damn, glad your ok Donald!

radioman 02-16-2016 08:57 PM

Damn dude. Isn't that your second one in less than a year? Or am I thinking of someone else.

Glad you're ok
