They should change the SC Project font into a coca-cola styled one. |
Hoping this is the right place to ask this. Trying to buy a gift for someone who is starting their lessons in a month, what would be a good present for someone who is just starting to get into riding? I originally thought of a helmet but after looking at threads here and online, it seems it's a pretty personal thing, so I was thinking a gift card? But then some of you say local will match online / online is better, so unsure of where to buy a gift card from.. Know absolutely nothing about bikes, just want to get an amazing gift. (Within a reasonable budget.. a few hundred and under is okay.) Thanks for the help knowledgeable riders :) |
Instead of a gift card to one place, why not give them a home made gift certificate saying "good for one helmet" or what have you? That way they can pick out exactly what they want from any retailer. |

Thank you guys for the suggestions! |
^ it depends on your budget as well if you dont mind spending $600+ then get him enrollment to a riding school like pacific riding school will do him a lot more good than gear by educating him how to ride safe etc. |
Unfortunately his lessons are paid for and arranged already :( Though, knowing that the entire duration of lessons costs $600+ would have probably been out of my budget. A couple of hundred is probably my maximum. Thank you so much for suggesting though! Still open to any other suggestions others may have. |
just get him gloves. |

Look for full-gauntlet race gloves with Kangaroo palms, knuckle protectors and palm sliders. I wear RS-Taichi gloves (they're great) but also check out Dianese, Alpinestars, KNOX, Spidi, and REV'IT. |
