How? I'm paying $600 on my Daytona with Beacon

I'm not sure but you should try calling Megson Fitzpatrick you might get a better deal. I don't know if it makes a difference but I've had my class six for 17 years and I've been with then for the last 6.

Just got my quote from beacon for my 06 r6. $407 with bike value at $6500 and 2k gear coverage.

I wonder how they get numbers as some of you guys seem to pay more for less.

That's the same bike/coverage I have. My declared bike value is even the same.

Megson sells Intact Insurance? That's a good deal.

How long you have been riding, your age, and whether or not you took lessons through her school will affect your rate as far as I am aware.

Hey guys!!

My gf and I are taking the 1st Gear Motorcycle School in mid April. We were wondering if anyone has gear they're selling (especially ladies size). Thought I'd ask on here since I've already been lucky from a generous member!

ICBC ideal for bad riders or new riders as ICBC can not refuse coverage to anyone. Always shop for additional coverage with other Insurance providers.

Megson- Can not say with 100% certainty but pretty sure all of there coverage is placed through Intact. Good thing also is that you are provided with cover sheet to indicate the value of the bike (if needs to be replaced) so your not over insuring or under insuring your bike.

Isn't that a pretty good deal?

Honestly not sure, just seeing these posts on cheap rates...maybe because they are experienced riders?

Lol, tried using megson's online quote, came up with "sorry can't give you a quote online, please contact...."

Has anyone built a cafe racer from a stock bike? Are there any big surprises/hurdles/expenses someone would be likely to run into if they wanted to build one from a stock bike? Maybe something like this:

Yeah, my advice is to buy a very nice one and modify that. You can get an older bike for cheap but you'll end up spending 10x more time removing rust, stuck parts, 40 years of grime, fixing electrical issues -- the list goes on.

Forcefield Pro L2K EVO. Best protectors/armor on the market. Super comfortable after break-in, thinnest overall, excellent breathability and is the highest rated (least transfer of force through your spine) among all other spine protector products.

I do find myself using a KNOX protector quite often also. Cheap, light, comfortable. Travels well.

For safety on the track I wouldn't suggest anything other than forcefield.
