Anyone know somewhere in the lower mainland that sells motorcycle gloves on Monday - would prefer a thick leather but am not too picky?! Landing from Montreal today and leave for Thailand Tuesday! I got too swamped with the workload and it didn't occur to me that most shops are closed Sunday here

Ahh, most motocycle shops are closed on Monday.

What time do you fly out Tuesday? Best bet is Craigslist man Or mountain bike shops - they'd prob sell leather gloves.

If you're just riding around Thailand at developing-country speeds mountain biking or mechanix gloves will be fine

Last time I was in Thailand I had my scooter up to 100k on the Thai highway and being in shorts and a t-shirt terrified the shit out of me so this time around I'd like a bit more protection than that.

I'll also be picking up something to ride in May so I figure I may as well buy gloves now

Edit: picked up these at east side reride

The maybe official quick motorcycle question/news not worthy of a new thread, thread

Bike show is coming up next weekend. Who’s going?
Buying tickets from the dealers is only to avoid the lines getting in right? Not any cheaper?
Ladies get in for 1/2 price after 5pm on Friday night

I honestly doubt there will be any major lines to buy tickets. When I went 2 years ago I bought tickets at the door on a Saturday early afternoon and there was like 3-4 people buying tickets. So its not like you're waiting in like at the PNE or anything. I think you save $3 by purchasing from a dealer.

Yes, James told me I got the last black one. It was such a good deal that I would have taken any colour. What is this witchcraft? How are your bikes standing up straight? Photoshop kickstands?

Magnets...

I wanted to get the tank, frame, fairing decals so it says "aprilia" on the side. But I can't with a silver tank. oh well.

Need to get frame sliders, levers, fender eliminator, tank grips etc

Magnets!
I just ordered CRG carbon levers, Graves tail tidy and frame sliders. Will most likely order TechSpecs as well.
What are these decals you speak of? Please link.

Skip the TechSpecs they suck. The glue peels off and the pads flake. Stompgrips are a wayyy better product.

Went to get my first service done.
So I asked to try this out while I waited.
Triumph 765 RS. It's a nice bike. Very user friendly and fun.

It’s patchable or pluggable. Patch from inside is always the best way to go. I have never had a problem with a plug in my tire.

Get it done properly and you shouldn't have any problems, just dont use a canadian tire DIY patch.. You only got 1 rear tire to rely on..
