Hey everyone, who here uses gopros? I'm looking to purchase a gopro for the bike. I'm comparing the hero 1, 2, and 3. I think I'm leaning to the hero2 since the low light is better. Recommendations or past experiences?

hero3 is notorious for it's freezing issue, not sure if they resolved it yet, get the hero2

Gh0stRider 05-13-2013 11:24 AM

might have a hero1 for sale ;)

gopro hero 3 silver is the go pro 2 just in a different housing

i think going with the hero 2 is fine, i was watching comparison videos of the hero 3 silver and hero 3 black and i thought the silver performed better in most low light conditions personally.

Anyone have any thing to watch out for on a M109R?
Anyone know what the insurance is like for that type of bike?

Seriously considering selling my bike for one of those beasts.

Wow the creator of this is genius. I gotta do this on my bicycle too

Gwilo 05-13-2013 06:08 PM

M109 R insurance will be over $ 115/month if you have a 43% discount for just the basic.

Also the handling is only so so, it has the 'power' but for straight line use only.

If you are looking for a power cruiser with good handling

M109R
107 horsepower and 79.23 pound-feet of torque

Warrior

74.4 hp at 4600 rpm 94.7 lb-ft at 3700 rpm

Yes more torque than HP

Very few in the used market, which will tell you something, people keep them.

You will have to buy new, they are priced better than the Ninja 250/300, and you still maybe able to pick up a 2012 for about $ 4400.

Used 2012 HONDA CBR 250RA For Sale | VANCOUVER BC

And Honda Centre shows $ 3999

Honda Motorcycles,CBR250R,CRF250L

Also Holeshot shows some 2012 R and RA models in that range.

So a couple weekends ago I got the chance to test ride 6 motorcycles and this is the first of 6 reviews of the bikes. Feel free to give me some feedback, good or bad, but I hope you guys like it.

what's a grey market bike?

Raid3n 05-18-2013 11:41 PM

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grey_import_vehicle
my gsxr 400 is a grey bike for example.
typically they are bikes that were not available for purchase in NA and are imported from other countries like japan or european countries

radioman 05-19-2013 11:40 AM

So I went to look at some gear at Modern Motorcycling yesterday and I was curious as to what type of boot you guys would recommend.

Also I tried a pair of teknic gloves that were size small and they fit well but I needed a larger size with other brands. Is this a normal thing with sizing between the brands?
